Cookie policy
The cookie settings apply to all domains of AB Zuid-Holland. A cookie is a small file sent with the pages of a website and stored by the browser on the hard disk. The placing of cookies can be refused and placed cookies can be removed. AB Zuid-Holland uses:
Analytical cookies: these cookies allow analysis of the use of the website in order to improve the quality and/or effectiveness of the website. AB Zuid-Holland does this by using Google Analytics, MSR and pixels. AB Zuid-Holland, as well as web builders and online marketing partners contracted by AB Zuid-Holland, necessarily have access to the data collected by Google Analytics, MSR and pixels. To get an idea of how the collected data is used, a sample of the software can be viewed on Google's site.
Affiliate cookies: these cookies are used by AB Zuid-Holland to keep track of what things or services (advertisements) a user is interested in so that the user can receive a targeted advertisement;
Social media plug in cookies: these allow a user of social media, to share (parts of) web pages with that social media network. In addition, social media cookies can be used to link profiles to a registration on the site. When registering, it is possible that an online profile is linked to data that is (possibly) already known to AB Zuid-Holland;
Tracking cookies: these collect data on surfing behaviour. Information collected includes web pages visited, IP addresses, cookie content and referrer URL;
Permanent cookies: a permanent cookie allows a visitor to be recognized when visiting the website again. As a result, the website can be set specifically to preferences. Even when permission to place cookies has been given, we can remember this by means of a cookie. As a result, preferences do not have to be repeated each time, which saves time and allows for a more pleasant use of the website. Permanent cookies can be deleted through the browser settings;
Session cookies: with the help of a session cookie it can be seen which parts of the website have been viewed with this visit. The service can thus be adapted as much as possible to the surfing behavior of visitors. These cookies are automatically deleted as soon as the web browser is closed.
AB Zuid-Holland uses all of the cookies listed above. The first two cookies do not or only slightly affect personal privacy and in principle no permission is required.
This is different for the other cookies: the data that are collected with these cookies can be considered as personal data. AB Zuid-Holland collects this information for the purpose of displaying (targeted) vacancies and other content, using social media, website statistics, creating interest profiles, displaying recommendations, market analysis, target group analysis, big data analysis and improving navigation on the website.
A cookie provided by Google is placed through the websites as part of the “Analytics” service. AB Zuid-Holland uses this service to track and receive reports on how visitors use the websites. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google's behalf. AB Zuid-Holland has no influence on this. Google is allowed to use the obtained analytical information for other Google services.
The information that Google collects is anonymized as much as possible. The information is transferred to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google states that it adheres to the Privacy Shield Principles and is affiliated with the U.S. Department of Commerce's Privacy Shield program. This implies an adequate level of protection for the processing of any personal data.
The websites include buttons to promote (“like”) or share (“tweet”) web pages on social networks such as Facebook and X (formerly Twitter). These buttons work by means of pieces of code that originate from Facebook and X respectively. Cookies are placed through this code. AB Zuid-Holland has no influence on this. The privacy statements of Facebook and X (which may change regularly) provide information about what they do with (personal) data that they process via these cookies.
The information they collect is anonymized as much as possible. The information is transferred to and stored by X, Facebook, Google and LinkedIn on servers in the United States. LinkedIn, X, Facebook and Google claim to adhere to the Privacy Shield Principles and are members of the U.S. Department of Commerce's Privacy Shield program. This implies an adequate level of protection for the processing of any personal data.
By using the website, you consent to the placement and use of cookies. You can refuse the placing of cookies or remove placed cookies via your browser, see for example the explanation of the Consumer Association for explanation.
